O’Regan joins CTV National News


TORONTO – CTV host Seamus O’Regan is joining CTV National News With Lisa Laflamme as a correspondent starting November 28, the network announced Tuesday.

O’Regan (pictured) has been co-host of CTV's Canada AM for nine years, covering a range of lifestyle stories and hard news, and interviewing newsmakers from the political world to celebrities.  In addition to his role on Canada AM, he has also reported for W5 and CTV National News, hosted programs on Bravo, reported from Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey for CTV's Royal Wedding coverage, and co-hosted Olympic Morning from Whistler B.C. in 2010.

O’Regan’s last day on Canada AM will be November 24 at which time the new co-host of the morning show will be revealed on air.

“Seamus’s innate sense of curiosity, combined with a natural instinct for finding a story in any circumstance, make him a tremendous addition to our reporting team,” said Wendy Freeman, president of CTV News, in the announcement.
