CALGARY – Telus is adding Movie Central and HBO Canada content to its Optik on the go service, offering the latest seasons of HBO Canada and Movie Central programming to customers who subscribe to Movie Central. First launched in 2011, Optik on the go allows customers to view a selection of TV On Demand shows and movies on their mobile devices, tablets and laptops, at home and on the move.
With the addition of Movie Central and HBO Canada programming, Optik will now offer subscribers new seasons of popular HBO original series such as Game of Thrones, True Blood and Boardwalk Empire, as well as favourite movies such as Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows, The Lorax and The Artist.
In addition to Movie Central and HBO Canada, Telus Optik TV subscribers can also enjoy a selection of their favourite On Demand shows from Super Channel, Hollywood Suite, YTV, Disney XD, Disney Junior, Family Channel, BabyTV, ABC Spark, Cartoon Network, Teletoon, Treehouse, Adult Swim and CBC on their tablet or smartphone, plus access to Global TV On Demand on their laptops.

The company also recently launched Optik Smart Remote, enabling customers to surf through all their content choices on their phone or tablet instead of the traditional guide on the TV.
