OpenCable makes room for “tru2way”

LOUISVILLE, Colo. – The cable industry – in the U.S., anyway – has decided to dump the old OpenCable term in favour of an even odder combination of letters and numbers by adopting the “tru2way” brand. It will be used as it applies to the marketing and branding of the interactive video platform for consumers and in retail markets, says CableLabs, the industry’s research and development arm, of which there are several Canadian MSO members.
