Ontera opens new network operations centre in Timmins

NORTH BAY, ON – Ontera, the telecommunications division of Ontario Northland, officially opened their newly renovated Network Operations Centre (NOC) Thursday in Timmins.The Timmins NOC monitors Ontera's telecommunication network integrity to avoid service impact to its customers throughout northeastern Ontario. It will house technical staff responsible for monitoring and identifying alarms, troubleshooting network service failures, dispatching technicians, and tracking service issues to completion.
