Ontario government announces $2M to support film, TV industry in North Bay

NORTH BAY – The Government of Ontario announced today it is providing $2 million to support the film and television industry in North Bay through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation. “This investment will help create jobs, attract talent and boost economic growth, improving quality of life for those who live in northern communities,” a press release says. The funding is being allocated to four projects, which will each receive $500,000. Three of the projects are for made-for-television movies.
