OneWeb launches 36 more LEO satellites

LONDON, UK — Late Friday night, low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications company OneWeb announced the successful launch of 36 of its satellites by Arianespace from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia. This latest launch brings OneWeb’s total in-orbit constellation to 218 satellites, according to the London, UK-based company’s press release.
