OMNI TV, Toronto’s Agape Greek Radio win ethnic media awards

TORONTO — The Canadian Ethnic Media Association (CEMA) today announced this year’s winners of its annual awards for journalistic excellence, which will be presented in the association’s first-ever virtual ceremony on November 18. The CEMA Awards recognize outstanding achievement in ethnic media across the categories of television, radio, print, Internet, documentary, podcast (news and feature), innovation and community engagement. The winner in the television category is Raul Dudnic, producer of OMNI Television’s Noi Romanii weekly program, for a piece called The Ethnic TV Producers.
