Olympics lift audiences for CTV News

TORONTO – The London 2012 Summer Games helped to boost audiences for CTV News’ national and local newscasts. CTV National News With Lisa Laflamme and many CTV Evening News broadcasts saw double-digit increases in average audiences versus their summer averages, according to Bell Media.  CTV National News increased its audience by 31%, while supper-hour weekday newscasts across the country were up 25% in total viewers.
