OBITUARY: Cable TV of Camrose founder Tom McLaren

CAMROSE, AB – Cable pioneer Tom McLaren was laid to rest Wednesday after his passing on October 9, 2014 at the age of 82 years.McLaren founded Cable TV of Camrose Inc. in 1976 which continues as a family-run company today with operations in Camrose and Slave Lake, Alberta. McLaren is survived by his wife Alice; children Debbie (Larry) Manley of Pincher Creek, Larry (Terry) McLaren of Camrose; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. As expressions of sympathy, the family has asked that donations be made to the charity of one’s choice.
