
TORONTO – The Ontario Association of Broadcasters (OAB) has kicked off a contest to help promote the power of radio.
OAB production and creative members are urged to enter creative in one, two or all three of the following categories:
1. Why radio is important during an emergency
2. Why you should advertise on radio (why radio advertising works)
3. Why you should listen to local radio
Creative should be 25 seconds in length to allow room for station tags.
Entries may be sent by email to memberservices@oab.ca with the subject line Creative Contest by the deadline of Friday, October 12. All entries become the property of the OAB.
Winners in each category will receive $500, and the best creative will be distributed to stations and played across Ontario. A presentation for the winners will be held during the OAB fall conference, Connection 2018, which will take place on Thursday, November 8 at the Marriott Toronto Airport Hotel.
