Novanet to purchase Laval’s Incospec

AJAX, ON – Novanet Communications, a provider of broadcast, wireless, satellite, systems and solutions says its purchasing Incospec Communications based in Laval, Quebec, with the transaction expected to close in early January, 2013. For nearly 35 years Incospec Communications has been supplying products and services to the cable television, satellite and wireless industries including repairs of warranty and out-of warranty equipment

“We are extremely excited about the prospect of working closely with one of Canada’s most respected value added reseller and systems’ integrator for the CATV/IPTV and broadcast transmission markets”, said Joe Uyede, President and CEO of Novanet Communications Limited. “With nearly 35 years of experience in the industry, both in Canada and abroad, and due to its strong technical team, Incospec has acquired expert knowledge in compressed digital video, IPTV, multimedia content processing and delivery, including signal monitoring & analysis. We look forward to bringing together the combined forces of both organizations.”

“After 35 extraordinary years as founder of Incospec, I wanted to find a way to slow down, yet still stay involved in the multimedia transmission industry”, said Mario Sebastiani, president and CEO of Incospec.

“Our organization has been serving the industry since 1978 with Pride, Integrity and Commitment. With Novanet, I feel that this company shares similar values as our organization. I am indeed happy to see that Incospec will continue pursuing its growth and have the resources to take on the upcoming challenges in video/multimedia and data delivery. While I will stay on with the new organization as consultant and business development, primarily for the Caribbean region, my son Louis will take on the role of General Manager at Incospec’s facilities in Laval, Quebec.”
