Nova Scotia to invest nearly $11M in county for high-speed internet

PICTOU COUNTY – Nova Scotia is investing $10.6 million into a Pictou County internet project to power more than 4,700 homes and businesses, a Tuesday press release said. The money will be provided through the Nova Scotia Internet Funding Trust and will go to the fibre project that is expected to cost $53 million.
