North Frontenac finishes small Wellington County broadband build

WELLINGTON COUNTY — Construction of a fibre-to-the-home project by North Frontenac Telephone Company, funded through the Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) organization, is now complete in Wellington County, providing better broadband access to more than 270 homes and businesses in the communities of Yatton, Creek Bank and Goldstone, located northwest of Guelph. The Ontario government made the announcement today in a press release. The governments of Canada and Ontario each provided $655,000 to fund the broadband network expansion.
