Nordic streaming service Viaplay coming to Canada in 2023
STOCKHOLM — Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) announced today it will launch its Viaplay streaming service in five new markets, including Canada, by the end of 2023. “Viaplay will launch in the UK in the second half of 2022 and then in Canada, Germany, Austria and Switzerland during 2023,” the Stockholm-based company’s press release says. With the addition of these five new markets, Viaplay will be available in a total of 16 countries by the end of 2023.
