
MONTREAL — Bell Media’s French-language news service Noovo Info today unveiled the Quebec personalities who will participate in the channel’s new debate program, Les Débatteurs de Noovo, airing Monday to Thursday at 10:30 p.m. ET, starting Sept. 12.
Each episode, Le Fil 22 (The Wire 22) news anchor Michel Bherer “will surround himself with four debaters from the worlds of law, politics, health, business, journalism or the arts who will clash their opinions and pose a candid look at the news,” reads an English translation of Bell Media’s press release.
The “team of diverse, experienced debaters representative of Quebec society” includes:
- Yves Boisvert, columnist at La Presse
- Antonine Yaccarini, political analyst
- François Lambert, entrepreneur, farmer and speaker
- Geneviève Pettersen, author and analyst
- Alex Perron, comedian
- Anne-France Goldwater, family law lawyer
- Victor Henriquez, public relations expert
- Nada Boumeftah, lawyer
- Dr. Alain Vadeboncoeur, emergency physician
- Deborah Cherenfant, entrepreneurship strategist
- Meeker Guerrier, news host and columnist
- Toula Drimonis, journalist and columnist
- Dominic Vallières, analyst and former political strategist
- Valérie Beaudoin, specialist in American politics
- Alexis Wawanoloath, former member of the National Assembly of Quebec
“Live and without a net, Les Débatteurs de Noovo is positioned as the essential editorial complement to Noovo Le Filnews programs,” the translated release says.
