
MONTREAL – Bell Media’s Noovo announced today a 60-minute holiday special En Attendant Le Réveillon (Waiting for New Year’s Eve), will air Sunday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.
Marie-Mai (above, left) and Antoine Vézina (above, right) are set to host the event, which will feature notable personalities including Arnaud Soly, Marie-Lyne Joncas, Dominic Paquet, Christine Morency, Richardson Zéphir, Rita Baga and others.
“Waiting for New Year’s Eve promises a surprising and very endearing duo of animators, festive and generous guests who prepare you to celebrate New Year’s Eve in music and humor,” reads an English translation of a French-language press release.
There will be holiday songs, festive cuisine, souvenir photos and surprise guests celebrating music and humour. “It is around a fireplace in a log cabin that they will share their best Christmas memories and offer you a unique evening,” the press release says.
“I love the holiday season! Christmas has always been very special for me, especially since I, in turn, can share this magic with my family,” said Marie-Mai, in the English translation of the press release.
“In addition, this year, I am lucky to be able to celebrate with Antoine and this beautiful gang of guests in music and humor, it’s really exciting! A festive appointment to wait until New Year’s Eve!”
En Attendant Le Réveillon is produced by Productions ToRoS in collaboration with Bell Media. It will air on first on Noovo on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and will be rebroadcast Dec. 20 at 8 p.m. It will be available to watch on Crave after the Dec. 12 broadcast and on Noovo.ca after the Dec. 20 broadcast.
