Nominations open for OAB’s Broadcast Order of Achievement award

MARKHAM, ON – The Ontario Association of Broadcasters (OAB) is now accepting applications for its Broadcast Order of Achievement awards.

The awards recognize tenure in broadcasting – Bronze for 10-14 years of service, Silver for 15-24 years of service and Gold for 25+ years of service.  Previously, the CAB coordinated recognition through their Quarter and Half Century Club.  Persons wishing to be recognized for their tenure in broadcasting may do so by applying on-line here.

Applicants will  be presented with their certificates the OAB Gala Awards Dinner which will take place immediately following the OAB fall conference Connection 2014 on October 30th at the Marriott Toronto Airport Hotel.  Gala Awards Dinner tickets are included with full conference registration, priced at $199 for members, $249 for non-members; or can be purchased separately at $99 for members and $129 for non-members.
