TORONTO – Nominations are now being accepted for the CommTech ICT industry awards gala that will take place on the eve of April's CommTech East Show and Seminars.

The awards will identify an outstanding business/organization and an individual in the Canadian ICT Industry and honour them publicly. No distractions. No noise. Just recognition.

Scheduled for April 16 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Mississauga Convention Centre, the award categories include:

The candidate must have demonstrated outstanding technical abilities in the last 12 months (product/solution design, knowledge, communication and training commitment), possess and demonstrate responsiveness and a can-do attitude, and be active in philanthropic pursuits, such as helping to further upcoming generations with knowledge, experience and training.

Nominees must be a Canadian citizen, resident or business/organization, and a maximum of 10 nominations per category will be reviewed by a panel of Canadian telecommunications experts.  Nominations are free and more information is available here.

Gala tickets must be ordered in advance.  The evening will also include fun, food, networking, and entertainment by renowned illusionist Aaron Paterson.
