
SAINT JOHN, NB – The Canadian Cable Systems Alliance announced Monday that nominations are now open for Tuned-in Canada: The CCSA Awards 2017.
The awards celebrate the exemplary customer service, inspiring community building efforts, fantastic local content, and well-loved community channel personalities at CCSA member companies across the country.
“Tuned-in Canada is the perfect platform to highlight the incredible value our members add to the communities they serve,” said Jay Thomson, CEO of the CCSA, in a release. “The awards are a great way to share our stories with government representatives, customers and communities and to encourage them to engage with our members.”
Canadians can make their nominations here until March 3rd at midnight (Atlantic).
The nomination categories are:
• Best customer service story
• Best community building story
• Best community channel programming
• Best on-camera community channel personality
Shortlisted nominees will be announced on March 27th and viewers across Canada will have a chance to vote and support their local nominees beginning April 20th.
Winners in each category will be announced on May 12th and will receive $1,000 to donate to a community charity of their choice.
