Nokia and EDC partner to boost export of Canadian-developed 5G tech

OTTAWA — Nokia and Export Development Canada (EDC) announced yesterday an expanded global partnership aimed at supporting investments in 5G networks around the world. As part of the three-year partnership, EDC, a Crown corporation dedicated to helping Canadian companies succeed globally, will provide financing and insurance solutions to Nokia’s global customers to enable them to build out their network infrastructure and enable greater broadband access, says a press release.
