No more videotape at City Toronto

TORONTO – The only tape in use at CHUM Television in Toronto is to be gaffer tape, the company announced Friday. As of now, Citytv Toronto's BT-BreakfastTelevision and its newscasts "CityNews" at Noon, Six and Eleven are now 100% tapeless. Citytv becomes one of the first Canadian broadcasters to achieve 100% tapeless acquisition and play-to-air in the newsroom.
