Next Alert Ready test happening Wednesday

OTTAWA-GATINEAU — The next test of Canada’s national public alerting system, Alert Ready, will be conducted on May 5, the CRTC announced today. With the exceptions of Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Nunavut, provincial and territorial emergency management organizations in other parts of the country will issue test alerts to be distributed on TV, radio and compatible mobile devices.
