New TVO strategy "a positive step" says union

OTTAWA – TVOntario's union is on side with the public broadcaster's new strategic agenda, announced today.The union representing more than 300 TVO employees says "the McGuinty Government's support for the public broadcaster's new strategic direction is a positive step," according to the press release. The government today announced $10 million to convert the channel to an all digital media platform and $15 million to cover transitional costs over the next two years.
