New Super Channel sports sub brand headlined by women’s pro football

EDMONTON - Super Channel is readying a new sports programming sub-brand that will offer exclusive sporting events and sports themed programming to subscribers on Super Channel and Super Channel On Demand.The broadcaster said Wednesday that Super Channel SPORTS’ flagship franchise will be women’s professional arena football league Legends Football League (LFL), an eight team U.S. sports franchise that will make its Canadian broadcast debut on April 22 at 9:00 PM ET on SC1.
