New series, mobile recipe app for CanWest specialties

TORONTO – CanWest has cranked up the promotional machine in support of two new series on specialty channels Showcase and History Television, and a new mobile recipe app for Food Network Canada.Showcase has picked up Endgame, an original drama series developed and produced by Thunderbird Films in association with Front Street Pictures. Centering around a brilliant chess master who solves the crimes that mystify others, the one hour, 13-episode series is set to begin production this summer and premiere next spring.
