New satellite phone promises to locates users anywhere in the world


CALGARY – Infosat Communications is now stocking the satellite phone Iridium Extreme which it says offer the ability to locate users anywhere on the surface of the planet.

Iridium Extreme provides users with one in-hand solution for voice, data, GPS, SOS, tracking and SMS. The smallest and lightest Iridium handset model ever released, it also features the first dedicated, two-way emergency SOS button on a satellite phone, plus meets stringent U.S. Department of Defense Military Standard 810F for durability.

The mobile satellite communication provider is also offering the Iridium AxcessPoint, an accessory that connects Wi-Fi enabled devices like smart phones, tablets and lap tops via Iridium’s global network.
