RADIOCOUNT ANNOUNCED TODAY it has launched a new radio audience measurement service, which will begin measuring over 20 Canadian markets in September.
“Following the announcement in late 2020 that several markets would no longer be measured by the existing diary service, Radio Connects established a committee of broadcaster, rep shop and agency representatives to evaluate alternative options,” a press release reads.
“In May 2021, the Canadian Association of Broadcasters endorsed radioCount‘s approach which uses a combination of telephone recall and e-surveys.”
RadioCount is the sister company of microtherapy inc.
“The launch of radioCount ushers in a new era of radio measurement for Canada,” said George Parkinson, president and CEO of radioCount and microtherapy, in the press release. “We built this new service out of microtherapy‘s data division, which has been producing audience data in the USA for 20 years.”
RadioCount’s Fall 2021 survey release will be available in late November.
