VICTORIA – Third quarter profits at Vecima topped $6 million on the strength on a 22% jump in revenue over the previous quarter, the company said Tuesday. The broadband equipment manufacturer credited its return to operational profitability to its diligent monitoring of “operating expenses while adding additional resources where necessary to meet revenue targets”. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 was $25.8 million, due to strong sales of converged wired solutions, particularly Terrace A, OEM QAM Modules and TerraceQAM.
