New original reality show Les Justiciers to premier on Noovo

MONTREAL – Bell Media announced today a new original reality television show Les Justiciers (The Justices) is coming to Noovo this fall.

The new series “will provide privileged access to the Quebec justice system while three lawyers with strong and singular personalities will settle disputes that fall under the small claims court,” an English translation of a Bell press release reads.

“Each episode, our three justices will discuss the different cases that will be presented to them before agreeing on a verdict. At the end of resources, citizens of all ages want justice to be done quickly, definitively… and for free! Who will win? How much will be paid for repair? It will be up to the three lawyers to decide… and to the production to pay the damages!”

Les Justiciers will show audiences the debate that led to the decision, as well as presenting both sides of the cases being heard, “Because when it comes to justice, everything is never all black or white,” the release says.

Examples of cases the press release outlines include a man claiming moral damages from “his ex-wife for the stress he experienced after learning that he was not the father of their child,” and “a 19-year-old woman sues her ex-best friend for damaging her reputation on Facebook.”

The series will feature 24, 60-minute episodes produced by Avanti-Toast in collaboration with Bell Media.
