New Metric Media teams with Feldman Agency to launch live entertainment venture


TORONTO — Production company New Metric Media (Letterkenny, Bad Blood) and entertainment talent agency The Feldman Agency announced today they have partnered to launch Tourbo, an alternative entertainment venture.

Tourbo will focus on developing premium, proprietary projects and licensing popular brands that currently exist as screen-based intellectual property, podcasts and online content to produce live touring entertainment for the global stage, says the news release.

New Metric Media and The Feldman Agency first worked together to bring Letterkenny Live!, the 90-minute comedy experience based on the hit Hulu/Crave television series, to audiences across North America. Based on that success and with growing demand from creators, brands and audiences for alternative programming, the two companies established Tourbo as a premier, one-stop shop to offer turnkey ancillary opportunities for new and existing brands to reach new audiences through live entertainment, says the release.

The companies say they will be announcing a call for submissions shortly.
