TORONTO – Christopher Randall has been hired as promotion manager for 92.5 JACK FM (Toronto).
Randall has 25 years of broadcast promotion experience including being marketing and promotion director of the Evanov Radio Group of stations (Z103.5/FOXY 88.5/AM 530 – Toronto; 98.5 The Jewel FM – Ottawa; and Z103.5 – Halifax).
Prior to that he was marketing and promotion director for 102.9 K-Lite FM and CKOC 1150 in Hamilton for 17 years and his efforts resulted in generating and reinforcing high profile station branding for Hamilton’s # 1 station – 102.9 K-Lite FM.
He began his career in radio at CFRB 1010 (Toronto) as sales promotion manager and on-air reporter followed by a position at 97.3 EZ ROCK (Toronto) where he was public service director and sales promotion co-ordinator.
Randall is also very active in community and charity organizations and is President of Helping Others Inc., a one-man volunteer charitable organization he founded himself in 1983 that has brought in almost $10 million in donations for disadvantaged people throughout Ontario and he is also actively involved with the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, The Scott Mission and has also done extensive volunteer work for The Salvation Army, CNIB, and Covenant House among others.
