New drama series takes to the sky for debut

TORONTO – Air Canada passengers will be offered a sneak peek at a new Canadian original drama series called ZOS: Zone of Separation next month.

The Movie Network and Movie Central partnered with the airline to show the first two episodes on Air Canada’s enRoute Television On Demand platform on domestic and international flights in early January. The series will then premiere on The Movie Network and Movie Central on January 19, 2009. Through this partnership, The Movie Network and Movie Central will be able to air a promotional spot and behind-the-scenes series footage before and after the run of each episode. The series will also be highlighted in enRoute Magazine and on aircanada.com/enRoute.

ZOS: Zone of Separation is co-executive produced by Paul Gross, and stars Colm Meaney, Lolita Davidovich, Michelle Nolden, Rick Roberts, Enrico Colantoni and Allan Hawco. The eight-part drama is about the life and death struggle to enforce a U.N.-brokered ceasefire in the fictional, Sarajevo-like town of Jadac.
