New Comwave app promises free long distance calls to 57 countries

TORONTO – Comwave has launched a new iPhone app that it says eliminates long distance charges for calls to 57 countries including Canada and the U.S. The VoIP provider said Wednesday that for $30 per year, users receive 250 free local and long distance minutes per month for 12 months. Users may place long distance calls directly through their existing contact lists on their mobile phones, and have the ability to change their caller ID.
