New CHCH promotion targets local advertisers

HAMILTON – Channel Zero-owned CHCH has developed a grassroots strategy to help boost its appeal with local advertisers. The independent broadcaster has kicked off a promotion aimed at local businesses in Hamilton, Halton and Niagara encouraging them to tune in for a chance to win a $5,000 television advertising campaign.  Called ‘Whose News Are You Watching’, the contest will distribute about 250,000 decals reading ‘We’re Watching CHCH’ through local newspapers or by contacting the station via email at wearewatching@chch.com.
