WINNIPEG – MTS has launched a free wireless app that gives customers the ability to quickly and easily report wireless network service concerns as they happen or later at their convenience.
The My Network Feedback App can be used to report voice or data connectivity issues to MTS, including dropped calls, coverage gaps, voice quality and slow data. For added accuracy, users can map their location and indicate whether they are indoors, outdoors or travelling. MTS said that it will use this information to prioritize future network enhancements.
The app also provides customers with information, such as improvements to local wireless networks, tips to keep phones working their best, and can help to locate the nearest MTS Wi-Fi hotspot.
Available for all Apple, Windows and Android devices, as well as select BlackBerry devices (models 9300, 9360, 9800, 9780, 9810 and 9900), the My Network Feedback App is free to download from the Apple App store, Google play, BlackBerry World and the Windows Phone Marketplace. No data charges will be incurred when the app is used on an MTS Wireless device (excluding MTS Prepaid Wireless Devices).
"We are proud of MTS's award-winning 4G LTE Wireless Network, but we also realize that we need to continually evolve and improve if we want to stay Manitobans' preferred wireless provider," said Paul Norris VP brand & consumer marketing, in the news release. "The My Network Feedback app is another opportunity for our customers to communicate with us. We're listening to their feedback and it helps us shape the evolution of our services here in Manitoba."
