Network issue could result in 9-1-1- delays for Bell’s Apple Watch Series 3 customers

MONTREAL – Bell is warning customers with the new Apple Watch Series 3 that their longitude and latitude location may not be supplied to 9-1-1 operators when the device is not paired with their iPhone via Bluetooth.This is a Bell network issue that affects only Apple Watch Series 3 users connected to the Bell Mobility LTE network, and the company’s network team is working closely with its technology partners to resolve the issue as soon as possible, reads the company’s announcement.  In the event of an emergency, 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) will contact Bell Mobility to obtain required longitude...
