Launches this week:

MTS launches 4G LTE service in Grand Beach and Victoria Beach, Man.

WINNIPEG – MTS announced Friday it has completed its 4G LTE wireless network expansion to Grand Beach and Victoria Beach, two of six rural Manitoba communities that are scheduled to receive MTS’s 4G LTE network service in 2013.

Earlier this month, LINK LINK LINK MTS announced plans to expand its 4G LTE wireless network to six more communities in 2013, including Selkirk, Portage la Prairie, Steinbach, Ste. Anne, Grand Beach and Victoria Beach.

SaskTel completes 32 4G projects in April 2013

REGINA – SaskTel announced Monday the completion of 32 4G wireless network infrastructure enhancement projects across the province in April 2013 to address growing customer demand for network coverage and capacity.

4G network enhancement projects were completed in communities including: Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Birch Hills, Waskesiu, Swift Current, Wilkie, Coleville, Paradise Hill, Turtle Lake, Lashburn, St. Walburg, Bredenbury, Foam Lake, Wynyard, Madge Lake, Silver Lake, Hunting Lake, Crooked Lake, Deer Valley Estates, and Condie Area.

Telus 4G LTE wireless service now in Fredericton

FREDERICTON – Telus announced Monday that its customers in this city now have access to the telco’s 4G LTE network.

Telus’ 4G LTE service now covers more than 70% of the Canadian population across approximately 170 markets.

Customers can also download the TELUS Network Experience (TNE) application for free through app stores on 4G phones including Android, iPhone and BlackBerry smartphones other than BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10 devices.
