Netflix to release 25 French-Canadian films

CANADIAN NETFLIX SUBSCRIBERS will gain access to 25 Quebec French language films from eOne, gradually, beginning this month. Netflix announced it acquired the Canadian rights to films including La Bolduc, Café de Flore, Les Grandes Chaleurs and Le Trip à Trois, in June. The films, which will be released over the course of several months, can be viewed in French and English, according to a press release. “We’re excited to share that we are increasing our French-Canadian film catalog, especially as we celebrate Netflix Canada’s 10-year anniversary,” said Audrey Gardiner, director of content acquisition at Netflix, in the press release....
