Netflix to create exclusive new sci-fi series written by The Matrix directors

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Netflix has announced it will be airing a new science-fiction thriller series exclusively to all its members in late 2014. Sense8, produced by Georgeville Television in association with Studio JMS, is described by Netflix as “a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted.” The 10-episode first season of the series marks the first foray into television by the Wachowskis, the creative geniuses behind Bound, The Matrix trilogy, V for Vendetta, Speed Racer and Cloud Atlas, and is the latest project from veteran show runner J.
