
TORONTO — Today is National Canadian Film Day, and Netflix Canada announced this morning it has added 21 new titles to the lineup of Canadian movies available to watch on the streamer.
Canadian Netflix members will find the new titles in a new collection on the service, Celebrating Canadian Films, which includes more than 100 films written by, directed by and starring Canadians.
“Grab the tissues for well-known films such as Café de flore and Away From Her, laugh it up with Bon Cop, Bad Cop and Starbuck or check out one of our new additions like The Art of the Steal or Dr. Cabbie,” reads a Netflix press release.
The streamer also posted a video on its Twitter account featuring Canadian Netflix stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Robbie Amell, Marie-Évelyne Lessard and Shamier Anderson offering suggestions for what Canadian films to watch on the streaming service.
The 21 new titles now available on Netflix Canada include:
