Nearly half of Canadians now use a smartphone – Ipsos

TORONTO - The sight of Canadians hunched over their smartphones as they get around is only going to increase says a report from Ipsos Reid. In its most recent wave of Mobil-ology, a syndicated study of the mobile market in Canada, it found that 47% of Canadians now report using a smartphone, significantly up from last year, when 34% reported using such a device.
