NCTA defends TV Everywhere against antitrust allegations


THE NCTA is staunchly defending the TV Everywhere initiative after the advocacy group Free Press described it as “agreements among giant media companies to stifle competition in the emerging market for online television programming”. Free Press plus six other U.S. consumer advocacy groups have also called on federal antitrust authorities and Congress to investigate.
