VANCOUVER – B.C.-based communications service provider Navigata Communications 2009 Inc. has announced the appointment of J. Owen Gilbert as the company’s chief operating officer.
"I will be focused on driving change through accountability and the well-known excellence of our employees, and on renewing the company’s dedication to customer service at every level of the organization,” said Gilbert in a statement.
A telecommunications professional with 20 years of experience, Gilbert most recently served the company as senior vice president of sales, marketing and customer service, where he led Navigata’s sales activities, set its strategic sales and marketing goals, and ensured the delivery of a superior customer service experience. As the new COO, Gilbert will play an integral role in developing and executing the Company’s strategic growth initiatives, as well as overseeing its entire operations.
