NAB's Content Theatre to feature animation, 3D cinema, more

WASHINGTON, DC – This year’s Content Theatre at the 2009 NAB Show will showcase the technology and production techniques behind animated features, documentaries and 3D cinema, show organizers announced earlier this week.Confirmed participants for the theatre are Pixar Animation Studios who will discuss Pixar Stereoscopic, The Jim Henson Company, who will demonstrate performing animated characters in real time, and Animal Planet, who will share techniques used in its documentary ‘Walk the Lion’.Unveiled in 2008, the NAB Show Content Theater showcases “the most innovative cinema, television, online and mobile filmed entertainment”, and examines how it was created using new tools and technologies found on...
