NABA, DPP team up on content exchange standards

TORONTO - The North American Broadcasters Association (NABA) is joining forces with the UK’s Digital Production Partnership (DPP) to promote common standards for the international exchange of content.In addition to signing a memorandum of understanding, the two organizations have established a joint steering group and a joint technical working group, aimed at examining how the AS-11 DPP standard can form the basis for a common delivery standard for North America.“Our partnership with the DPP is a tangible step forward to developing common standards and transparency in File Formats and improving the efficiency of our operations”, said NABA director-general Michael McEwen,...
