WASHINGTON, DC – Nearly one in four attendees at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters Show is expected to come from outside of the U.S., demonstrating the global scale and scope of the world’s largest electronic media show, convention organizers say.
Among the more than 1,500 companies exhibiting at this year’s NAB Show, held April 18 – 23, 2009 in Las Vegas, more than 500 are headquartered outside the U.S. Delegates from Bulgaria, Greece, Morocco and Norway will attend for the first time, and the show’s exhibit hall will feature its “largest-ever representation of international pavilions”, according to the press release.
"We put global content professionals around the world in touch with solutions providers from every stage of the content lifecycle," said NAB executive vice president of conventions and business operations, Chris Brown, in the release. "The participation of international visitors is a key component and we are committed to growing the global scope of the show by delivering an international audience and remaining the global business-to-business event for the entire industry."
And count on Cartt.ca to be a key part of the Canadian media contingent.
