Mulligan files lawsuit against CTVglobemedia over dismissal


TORONTO – Longtime disc jockey and TV host Terry David Mulligan is suing CTVglobemedia for wrongful dismissal, according to the National Post. The newspaper reported last week that Mulligan who turned 65 in June was told his last day of work was December 31, 2007, even though British Columbia – where he worked – eliminated mandatory retirement on January 1. Mulligan worked for about 24 years for CHUM at MuchMusic and Movie TV, which CTVglobemedia acquired last September.
