WINNIPEG – Manitoba Telecom Services announced today the installation of its 40,000th MTS TV customer.
The number of people signing on is growing rapidly, added the company’s press release.
“Not only have we been expanding MTS TV to more neighbourhoods in Winnipeg, we continue to beef-up our amazing service by offering additional features, great new channels, and new theme packages all at attractive prices customers crave," says Cheryl Barker, President MTS (Manitoba), in the release.
MTS TV is DSL-delivered digital television over the twisted-pair/fibre telco plant. The company offers digital TV to every set in the home on one box, high speed Internet through the set top box and unique features like phone call display on the TV screen.
In addition, the company is getting ready to launch its Video On Demand service giving viewers the ability to use their remote to choose from a wide variety of movies and documentaries. Customers will be able to stop, pause, fast forward, rewind and replay the program as often as they want.
