WINNIPEG – MTS TV has launched two new services that allow customers to watch multiple channels simultaneously.
With the first, called ‘Ultimate Picks’, customers can watch up to six channels at a time from channels available in the company’s Sports Picks, Movie Picks, Premium Movie Picks, HD Picks, and Kids Picks packages. The second service, known as ‘My Picks’, allows customers watch up to six channels of their own choosing at one time.
“By launching Ultimate Picks and My Picks, we are further enhancing the TV viewing experience for our customers, while adding even more value to our already popular MTS TV service," said Stan Kurtas, VP of marketing, in the announcement. "Now customers can enjoy a fully customized and unique experience from the comfort of their couch, just one more great benefit for being an MTS TV customer."
MTS Ultimate TV customers can purchase ‘Ultimate Picks’ as an added feature to their current TV service package on channel 1016. Customers interested in ‘My Picks’ will receive a free 90 day preview on channel 1017 and can then subscribe for $1.99/ month.
In other company news, The Telecommunications Employees Association of Manitoba (TEAM-IFPTE LOCAL 161), voted to ratify a three-year agreement with MTS Allstream late last week.
The TEAM-IFPTE negotiating committee recommended acceptance of the agreement covering over 1,200 managers and professionals at MTS Allstream in Manitoba.
