WINNIPEG – MTS Allstream is offering its Manitoba subscribers something else to check from their wireless devices besides email and sports scores: listings for its video on demand movies.
Can’t wait to get home and watch a flick? Surf the MTS listings on the mobile browser service on your cell phone and see what’s in store when you arrive and pick up your TV remote to order the films.
Like most technology today, the cell phone browser categorizes listings in several ways: what’s new this week, the top 10 movies, final showings, and new releases.
"This is yet another service we’re offering to make the fast-paced lives of our customers a little easier," said Kelvin Shepherd, president, Consumer Markets, MTS Allstream. "An MTS customer can now decide what movie they’d like to watch tonight while they’re standing in line at the grocery store, or picking their child up from school. It’s all about convenience."
Beyond listings, subscribers can also see movie ratings and find out which actors appear in them.
